Father's Day

Father's Day was great. We had the Kaiser's and McGee's over to celebrate. We cooked out lunch - our first cookout on the new patio and outdoor kitchen...YEAH! We also had a big surprise for our families! After Brooks' nap, we brought him out in his new shirt (click on the Kaiser family pic to enlarge)....

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Well, Brooks is all over the place! For about a month now, Brooks has been slowly cruising the furniture; however, he is now fairly quick and is getting into everything. It is pretty amusing to watch but mommy and daddy definitely have their hands full these days. He gets frustrated VERY easily when he can't go somewhere or it takes him longer than .01 seconds to pull up. He gets his patience and temperament from his mommy :-)

He is getting to be such a big boy. He is 8 1/2 months - We can't believe it! He has six teeth now and more coming in. He has been having a rough time with the latest ones. He likes to eat finger food and is getting pretty good at using his pincer fingers - but he doesn't always make it in his mouth!

We have been doing lots of swimming lately and Brooks starts his first infant survival swim class this coming Monday. It is 4 - 6 weeks everyday (Mon - Fri) for 10 minutes a class...YIKES! He will learn how to hold his breath under water while his eyes are open, float by himself and roll from belly to back and back to belly. They start kids at 6 months of age and it is absolutely amazing. He loves the water so hopefully it will go over well.

Life is awesome with our little man around!

Bubbles!

Brooks has a new love of bubbles.  He has a bubble machine in the bathtub that gets him giggling and Nana blew bubbles for him at her house.  He enjoys catching them and trying to pop them.  He also thinks it is pretty darn funny when they hit is face!

Our Beautiful Boy

I just thought these pictures of Brooks and Brooks and his poppy were wonderful!

Our Little Fish

Well, I think we have a little fish on our hands! Nana and Poppy's pool was finally warm enough to take little man in and he LOVED it! It was a bit cooler than the bath so that startled him at first, but once he got used to it, it was great. Now we can hold him by his arms facing us and he will kick his feet like a frog and put his face in. It is sure to be a summer full of fun at the pool!
