Halloween

It wasn't Brooks' first Halloween; however, he was only 3 weeks old last year so I guess we can kind of count this as his first 'REAL' Halloween. I must say, he made the cutest little lion on the planet! We had a play group Halloween party in the morning - the kids are between 12 - 18 months. They all dressed up in the cutest costumes and our hostess had fabulous decorations, treats and goodie bags. It was great fun!

Brooks usually goes to bed between 6:30PM - 6:45PM - yes, he is exhausted by that time of night and he sleeps until 7AM! Anyway, we decided to attend a block party for about an hour the night of Halloween, hoping to have him home and in bed on time. Well, we showed up a little late and stayed too long and ended up only hitting about 5 houses for trick-or-treating on the way home. Just a couple of friends / neighbors houses on our street. Brooks was so cute and had no idea what was going on. We walked up to the doors and we held out his little pumpkin for candy. He only ended up with about 6 pieces but he didn't get to eat them anyway - they were for daddy :-)  We finally got him home around 7PM, fed him dinner, gave him a bath and put him to bed around 7:30PM.  WHAT A FUN DAY!
