Weekend With Nana & Poppy

Alex and I took a trip to Austin this weekend for a friend's wedding. Nana & Poppy kept Brooks for three nights of fun and exhaustion! They went for walks every morning. They played in the fountains at the shopping center and Brooks was startled at first by the fountain but became pretty fond of it after a bit. They took a trip to the park for swings and slides - Brooks' favorite! And we even had our first real fall while walking with a friend's toy walker. Brooks' face is a bit scratched up (of course Nana feels horrible) but that is what happens when we are learning something new. Not to mention what a busy boy Brooks is and he moves very quickly. There was no emergency room visit and it is nothing a little Neosporin and time won't heal :-) Boys will be boys!

It looks like they had a great time while we were gone.
